SMC's Nine-Month Profit Edges Up 1%

SMC's (TYO:6273) profit attributable to owners of the parent company edged up 1.0% to 121.6 billion yen for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2025, from 120.4 billion yen a year earlier.

The pneumatic control device maker's basic earnings per share increased to 1,916.97 yen from 1,880.28 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.

Net sales rose 3.3% to 609.9 billion yen from 590.5 billion yen in the year-ago period.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company expects attributable profit of 153.0 billion yen, basic EPS of 2,406.70 yen, and net sales of 816.0 billion yen.

SMC plans to pay a year-end dividend of 500 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
