UBS Group (UBS) intends to hire roughly 50 bankers for its wealth management business in Hong Kong after a strong performance by its North Asia business last year, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing a senior executive.
The hiring will mainly focus on high net worth clients, following recent years spent targeting ultra-wealthy individuals, the news outlet reported, citing Amy Lo, co-head of Wealth Management for Asia Pacific.
UBS didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
