ChainCatcher 消息，据《财富》杂志报道，由 Andreessen Horowitz（a16z）和红杉资本支持的跨链协议 LayerZero 宣布将推出一条专为传统金融设计的新区块链“Zero”，并已获得多家华尔街主流机构的支持。
此次推出的 Zero 区块链旨在通过零知识证明技术的突破，实现每秒处理 200 万笔交易、单笔成本低于一美分的性能，以应对传统金融体系对高吞吐量与低成本的需求。该公司计划于 9 月正式启动该网络。
Citadel Securities、ARK Invest 创始人 Cathie Wood 以及纽约证券交易所母公司洲际交易所（ICE）已作为投资者、合作伙伴或顾问参与该项目。稳定币发行商 Tether 和 ARK Invest 也确认将对 LayerZero 进行投资。
LayerZero 联合创始人 Bryan Pellegrino 表示，引入这些具有深厚市场结构经验的机构，旨在推动华尔街对区块链技术的规模化采用。
