SoftBank's Nine-Month Profit Climbs 11%

SoftBank's (TYO:9434) profit attributable to owners of the parent company climbed 11% to 485.5 billion yen for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2025, from 436.6 billion yen a year earlier.

The internet services company's earnings per share increased to 9.97 yen from 9.02 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Revenue rose 8.0% to 5.195 trillion yen from 4.812 trillion in the year-ago period.

It declared a year-end dividend of 4.30 yen per share, payable from Dec. 5.

For the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company expects attributable profit of 543 billion yen, basic EPS of 11.28 yen, and revenue of 6.95 trillion yen.

SoftBank plans to pay a year-end dividend of 4.30 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
