Chinese State-Owned Enterprises Set Up AI Industry Consortium

State-owned enterprises in China established a consortium for the artificial intelligence industry, Xinhua reported Wednesday.
The consortium, which is under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, will focus on high-value application scenarios, high-quality datasets, key and core technologies across the industry, the report said.
Central SOEs are also invited to collaborate in the Huanxin Community. Huawei, Unitree Robotics and Moore Threads Technology (SHA:688795) were some of the Chinese technology enterprises that joined the platform, the AI cooperation platform launched in July 2025, the report said.
