花旗发布研报称，该行通过经销商调研及行业验证(含中国重汽反馈)，维持对2026年中国重卡(HDT)需求稳定增长的积极判断。鉴于人工智能中心对固体氧化物燃料电池(SOFC)及人工智能数据中心(AIDC)主动/被动能源供应的强劲需求，花旗认为潍柴动力可能战略转型，将更多资源从机械领域转向能源供应业务，支撑长期增长。
该行续指，公司大型发动机、数据中心及能源供应业务成为核心增长点。其中，该行上调2025-2027年大型发动机销量预期至1.35万台/1.6875万台/2.025万台(其中数据中心用发动机销量分别为1350台/2835台/5103台)，将数据中心用发动机毛利率预期上调至平均36.5%，非数据中心大型发动机毛利率上调至32%。
