CMBC Capital (HKG:1141) entered into a new office-sharing agreement with CMBC International, its indirect controlling shareholder, according to a Feb. 6 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the financial services firm were up nearly 3% in Monday morning trade.
Under the agreement, CMBCI will grant the group non-exclusive use of about 11,000 square feet of office space in Central from Jan. 1, 2026, to Dec. 31, 2028.
CMBC Capital will not pay any sharing fees from April to May 2026. From June 2026 onward, the company will pay a monthly fee of HK$850,000, subject to adjustment based on the area used, the filing said.
Proposed annual caps on the sharing fees are set at HK$6.3 million for 2026 and HK$10.8 million for 2027 and 2028.
