Minsheng Education Group (HKG:1569) said a Hong Kong arbiter issued a partial award in a long-running dispute involving the company's subsidiary Minsheng Vocational Education, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Sunday.
The Hong Kong International Arbitration Center's partial award would require Minsheng Vocational Education to pay damages plus interest for allegedly breaching a share purchase agreement over a put option for the sale of 49% interest in Leed International Education Group.
A final award will be issued in due course and Minsheng Vocational is seeking legal advice on the matter, Minsheng Education said.
