日本财务大臣片山皋月试图安抚投资者的同时也发出了警告，说如有必要会在周一与金融市场沟通。

　　周日选举结果陆续公布的同时，片山在电视节目上重申自己与美国财政部长斯科特·贝森特保持着密切联系。她表示，两人共同肩负着维护美元-日元走势稳定的责任。

　　“日本和美国签署了谅解备忘录，明确规定我们可以对脱离基本面的快速波动采取果断措施，” 片山说，“那当然包括干预。”

　　美国似乎已经出手在汇率上拉了日本一把。上个月日元的剧烈波动最初被认为是东京可能采取的干预措施，但后来证明主要是美国所为。对华盛顿和东京可能采取联合行动或进行干预的担忧也吓退了投机者。

　　然而，这种策略未必能再次奏效。这意味着日元再次走弱最终可能导致政府干预，而片山或许正是想通过她的表态来推迟或避免这种情况。

　　片山说她正密切关注金融市场，同时强调奉行负责任的财政政策。

　　“高市政府非常关注财政可持续性，也希望加以保持，” 她说。
