Expand Energy said Chief Executive Domenic Dell'Osso Jr. has stepped down.
Dell'Osso is leaving the company after having first joined in 2008, and after serving as CEO since 2021, Expand said Monday. He will remain as an external adviser for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition, it said.
Shares were down 7% to $102.65 in early trading.
The natural gas exploration-and-production company said its chairman, Michael Wichterich, will take over the role on an interim basis while the company searches for a permanent candidate for the position. Wichterich has been chairman since 2021, and was also interim CEO before, between April and October of that same year.
Additionally, the company said it will move its headquarters to Houston from Oklahoma City in mid-2026.
The relocation, which will primarily focus on the executive leadership team, aims to strengthen Expand's relationships with key industry and commercial partners, the company said.
