Market Chatter: Chow Tai Fook Jewellery to Raise Prices in Mid-March

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group (HKG:1929) plans to raise prices for gold products across its stores in mainland China in mid-March, The Standard reported Tuesday.

The firm may raise prices for fixed-price items by 15% to 30%, the report said.

According to The Standard, several Chow Tai Fook stores confirmed the planned adjustment. Last year, Chow Tai Fook raised price of gold products thrice.

The firm confirmed plans to raise prices but noted that the timing and magnitude had yet to be finalized, The Standard reported.
