Elegance Optical Unit Shortlisted for Inclusion to PetroChina's Supplier Database

Elegance Optical International (HKG:0907) said its subsidiary Jiangsu Sheng Ji Investment was shortlisted for PetroChina Liaoning Marketing's list of qualified suppliers for non-fuel product procurement, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Tuesday.
Shares of the firm gained nearly 59% in late morning trade Wednesday.
Jiangsu Sheng Ji is now eligible to become a supplier to PetroChina Liaoning Marketing within the general merchandise category, which includes products such as sunglasses, the firm said.
Once confirmed, the qualification validity period will last until Dec. 31, 2028.
