Brazilian Rare Earths Confirms Low-Temperature Process Delivers 97% Rare Earth Recovery; Shares Rise 4%

Brazilian Rare Earths (ASX:BRE) said Wednesday a metallurgical optimization program at Brazil's CDTN research institute validated the optimal temperature for high rare earth recovery.

The program confirmed 150°C as optimal for extraction performance, delivering extraction rates of 97% for total rare earth oxides, 97% for neodymium and praseodymium, 83% for dysprosium, 87% for terbium and 97% for uranium, according to an Australian bourse filing.

The program also confirmed scalability through a 15-kilogram blended composite verification test replicating laboratory performance, the filing said.

The company's shares rose past 4% in recent trading on Wednesday.
