ChainCatcher 消息，Bitwise 首席投资官 Matt Hougan 在 ETF Edge 节目中表示，比特币近期下跌并非由单一因素导致，其中四年周期是主要的下行催化剂。Matt Hougan 指出，投资者近期更青睐黄金和 AI 股票等资产，而非加密货币。此外，市场还受到量子风险以及对 Kevin Warsh 担忧的影响。
尽管比特币价格一度跌破 6.1 万美元，降至近 16 个月低点，但 Matt Hougan 认为，比特币的金融化进程并未改变其供应稀缺性。目前 Bitwise 管理资产规模超 150 亿美元，旗下 Bitwise Solana Staking ETF 自去年 10 月上线以来已下跌约 57%。
