匿名知情人士透露，维权投资者Ancora Holdings Group已建仓华纳兄弟探索公司的股份。
Ancora的持股规模及其计划暂不得而知。Ancora和华纳兄弟的代表暂未回复置评请求。
另有报道称，Ancora计划反对华纳兄弟将旗下片厂和HBO Max流媒体服务出售给奈飞的交易。
华纳兄弟表示，计划最迟4月份提请股东就该项与奈飞的交易进行投票。年度股东大会将在上述表决的数月后举行，并进行董事选举。
奈飞和Paramount Skydance Corp．正在竞购华纳兄弟，后者已同意以每股27.75美元的价格将其片厂和HBO Max流媒体服务出售给奈飞，包含债务在内的交易总额约827亿美元，并计划将CNN和TNT等有线电视网络分拆给股东。
由科技界名门之后David Ellison领导、并获其亿万富豪父亲Larry Ellison支持的Paramount，正提出以每股30美元（对应企业价值1084亿美元）收购华纳兄弟的整体业务。
华纳兄弟多次回绝Paramount的提议，后者已对华纳兄弟的股票发起了要约收购。
