Wingstop 10-Minute Service Is Key to Expanding Customer Base -- Market Talk

1202 ET - With nearly 3,000 locations, Wingstop has the reach to be a mainstay brand, but the key will be achieving its 10-minute service time, say Stifel analysts. "A 10-minute service time effectively increases the brand's availability for other consumer entry points, where it previously was not in the consideration set," the analysts say. The company's Smart Kitchen, when executed properly, allows for that reduced service time and the company will have to roll it out system-wide. That would enable it to become an option for a quick lunch or a fast family dinner, the analysts say. (nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
