Target (TGT) said Tuesday it has appointed Lisa Roath as the company's chief operating officer and Cara Sylvester as chief merchandising officer, effective Feb. 15.

Chief commercial officer Rick Gomez is leaving Target, while chief merchandising officer for apparel and accessories, home, and Fun101 Jill Sando will retire, the company said.

Roath was previously the company's chief merchandising officer of food, essentials, and beauty, while Sylvester was previously chief guest experience officer, Target said.

Target added that it is conducting an external search for a chief guest experience and marketing officer.

Further, for Q4, Target said it expects to report a low-single digit decline in sales and full-year 2025 adjusted EPS of about $7.00 to $8.00, in line with its prior guidance.
