ChainCatcher 消息，据封面新闻援引马来西亚媒体报道，近日有 7 名马来西亚当地警察伙同 5 名男子，深夜闯入雪兰莪州加影镇一处住宅内，恐吓并勒索中国游客，最终迫使受害者通过加密货币转账约 20 万令吉（约合 35.2 万元人民币）。警方展开调查后迅速行动，成功将涉案警察逮捕。
消息人士透露，该案发生于晚约 23 时左右，事发地点为加影镇绿野山庄（Country Heights）的一处住宅。当晚，8 名中国游客在屋内休息，突然遭到 12 名男子破门而入，当中有人身穿警队反光外套，并且向众人出示警方证件，自称是警察。目前，警方将此案列为结伙持械抢劫案，并援引刑事法典第 395 条文展开调查。同时，警方将向当地法院申请延扣令，以协助进一步调查。
