1130 GMT - Pest control company Rentokil is the biggest faller in London's blue-chip FTSE 100 index as traders respond to disappointing earnings from U.S. peer Rollins. Atlanta-based Rollins reported below-expectation adjusted earnings and revenue for the fourth quarter after the U.S. close Wednesday. Rollins chief executive Jerry Gahlhoff said the company's performance was hit by erratic weather patterns in the fourth quarter, hurting one-time business and seasonal work. Rentokil's share price performance is dependent on momentum in its U.S. operations, Jefferies' analysts wrote in a note earlier this month. Rentokil falls 4.7% in London, while Rollins shares sell off steeply premarket, falling 14%. (josephmichael.stonor@wsj.com)
