De Beers Likely to Be Sold to Public-Private Consortium, Anglo American CEO Tells FT

--Anglo American expects to sell diamond company De Beers to a public-private consortium and hopes to complete a deal this year, Chief Executive Duncan Wanblad tells the Financial Times.
--Wanblad said the sale process is relatively well advanced and will most likely result in the government of Botswana owning a bigger share of the diamond company. The government currently owns 15% of De Beers.
