RTX (RTX) has been awarded a $230.6 million contract to procure materials, parts, components and efforts needed to protect the F135 Lot 20 propulsion system delivery schedule, the US Department of War said Monday.
The award is to support the production of 138 propulsion systems for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, non-US Department of Defense partners, and Foreign Military Sales customers, according to the statement.
Work is expected to be completed in May 2031, it said.
