Insperity expects to cut approximately 4% of its non-sales workforce this quarter as part of an internal reorganization.
The human resources services provider said Tuesday that the layoff is part of a plan to improve efficiency and align the company's workforce with its key areas of focus.
Insperity anticipates incurring one-time charges of approximately $9 million in connection with the reorganization, consisting primarily of cash expenditures for severance payments, employee benefits, and related costs.
The majority of the charges will be incurred in the first quarter, by which time the realignment plan will be substantially complete, Insperity said.
