Shenzhen Sunlord Electronics (SHE:002138) sued Murata Manufacturing (TYO:6981) for its alleged malicious initiation of intellectual property, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Tuesday.
The Chinese electronic transformer producer is seeking 1.5 million yuan in compensation for economic losses from the Japanese electronic components maker.
The case was filed at the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court.
