近日，高途教育科技集团创始人、董事长兼CEO陈向东就此前“不会挖董宇辉”的言论对凤凰网财经《封面》作出回应。
他表示，这只是自己的直觉反应，因为真正优秀的人才自有其判断与选择。行业应当爱惜涌现出的优秀人才。
谈及为何离开新东方十二年来鲜少提及老东家，陈向东解释，一方面源于对工作过十四年的地方感情深厚；另一方面，他担心任何相关言论都可能被误解为蹭热度，反而容易引发不必要的讨论。

凤凰网财经《封面》：如何看待新东方的经历？您曾说“不会挖董宇辉，那不是人干的事”，当时出于何种心态？是单纯江湖道义还是另有考量？
陈向东：就是直觉反应，我觉得优秀人才自有道德或人生判断，不是挖不挖的问题。第二，出了人才应爱惜。我离开12年很少提及新东方，因为在新东方工作14年多，情感深厚；另外，作为高途创始人，怕言辞不当引发不满或被视为蹭流量，怎么说都不对。
