Shares of information technology firms jumped 2% at midday Tuesday.

Acusensus (ASX:ACE) doubled the number of trailer-based enforcement units contracted in its October 2024 deal with the Western Australia Road Safety Commission

On the flip side, the financial sector, one of the two sectors trading in the red on the Australian Stock Exchange, fell 0.7%.

Shares of Omni Bridgeway (ASX:OBL) were up past 2% in recent Tuesday trade after it said in a late Monday statement that its total cash investment proceeds reached AU$223.7 million in the fiscal first half.
