Lindian Resources Starts Second-Stage Resource Definition Drilling at Malawi Project

Lindian Resources (ASX:LIN) started a second-stage resource definition drilling and mine geotechnical program at the Kangankunde project in Malawi to convert up to 40 million tonnes of current inferred mineral resource material to indicated category, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program covers roughly 3,400 meters of diamond core drilling and 2,700 meters of reverse circulation drilling, with drilling expected to run through April, the filing said.

Assay results are expected in May, with an updated resource model planned for June, per the filing.
