LATAM Airlines Reports 13% Increase in January Traffic

LATAM Airlines (LTM) said Tuesday that consolidated passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers, rose 13.3% year over year in January.
System capacity, measured in available seat kilometers, increased 11.1% from a year earlier, with a load factor of 86.4% for the month.
For cargo operations, available ton kilometers rose 6.4% to 746 million, with 83 thousand tons of cargo transported.
The group carried 8.2 million passengers in January, up 9% from the same month last year.
