Acusensus (ASX:ACE) doubled the number of trailer-based enforcement units contracted in its October 2024 deal with the Western Australia Road Safety Commission, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Under the new contract terms, extended until at least October 2028, six additional trailer units are to be deployed from July to September, the filing said.
Each unit can simultaneously detect mobile phone usage, seat belt non-compliance, point speed and average speed, as well as unregistered vehicles, the filing added.
The company expects incremental contract value associated with the variation and expansion of about AU$13 million.
