0922 GMT - Bellway has seen a slight pick up in demand in the early weeks of the spring selling season and reiterates guidance but Peel Hunt doesn't expect changes to consensus estimates. Over the medium term, the housebuilder's ability to create value, outside of a macro recovery, will likely depend on the rate at which it can shrink its balance sheet and operate more efficiently, analysts Sam Cullen and Clyde Lewis say in a note. "The group maintained the full-year volume outlook of 9,200, alongside the around 320,000 pounds average selling price guidance and operating margin of 11%. As a result, we do not anticipate any changes to consensus," the analysts say. Shares are up 3.5% at 2,632 pence. (anthony.orunagoriainoff@dowjones.com)
