Black Box's Arm to Acquire Brazilian Technology Company for INR2.75 Billion; Shares Down 5%

Black Box Do Brasil Industria E Comercio, a step-down subsidiary of Black Box (NSE:BBOX, BOM:500463), has agreed to acquire Brazilian technoly solutions integrator, 2S Inovações Tecnológicas, for 2.75 billion Indian rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

2S is a solutions integrator of IT infrastructure, technologies, and managed services and operates as an end-to-end technology solutions provider. Its acquisition will help the company to expand its presence in Latin America and strengthen its end-to-end service portfolio.

The amount for the acquisition is payable at closing subject to working capital adjustments and additional deferred payments including earn-outs linked to performance over the next two years.

This transaction is expected to close by end of March 2026.

The company's shares were down nearly 5% in recent trade.
