Youdao (DAO) reported Q4 non-GAAP net income Wednesday of 0.49 Chinese renminbi ($0.07) per diluted American depositary share, down from 0.77 renminbi a year earlier.
Analysts' estimates weren't readily available for comparison.
Total net revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was 1.56 billion renminbi, up from 1.34 billion renminbi a year earlier.
Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 1.51 billion renminbi.
Youdao shares were up more than 4% in premarket trade Wednesday.
