韩国隐私监管机构周四表示，已对路易威登、迪奥和蒂芙尼等奢侈品牌的韩国子公司处以总计 360 亿韩元（约合 2490 万美元）的罚款，原因是这些公司泄露了客户信息。
韩国个人信息保护委员会在前一天的全体会议上做出决定，对路易威登韩国公司处以 214 亿韩元的罚款——这是三家公司中罚款金额最高的——原因是该公司泄露了约 360 万客户的数据。
该监管机构表示，有外部人员三次入侵员工设备，窃取了用户名、电话号码和出生日期等个人信息。监管机构指出，该公司在远程登录安全措施方面存在缺陷。
与此同时，监管机构分别对迪奥韩国公司和蒂芙尼韩国公司处以122亿韩元和24亿韩元的罚款，原因是两家公司员工被诱骗授予恶意人员内部系统访问权限，导致数据泄露。
据监管机构称，迪奥公司约有195万用户的数据遭到泄露，且该公司在事发三个月后才意识到此事；而蒂芙尼公司的泄露事件涉及约4600名用户的个人信息。
