Zhen Ding Technology (TPE:4958) unit Garuda Technology will invest NT$1.03 billion to construct new employee dormitories in Kaohsiung Park, Taiwan, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares slid over 1% in Thursday's late morning trade.
The 1,430-day turnkey design-and-build contract was awarded to Chun Yuan Construction. The project will be built on rented land, it said.
