ANZ Group's Total Capital, CET1 Capital Rise Year on Year in December 2025 Quarter; Shares Reach All-Time Peak

ANZ Group Holdings' (ASX:ANZ, NZE:ANZ) total capital and Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) capital both rose year-over-year in the December 2025 quarter, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The bank's total capital in the three months to December 2025 came in at AU$98.47 billion, up from the AU$92.45 billion it reported in the year-ago period. Its CET1 capital for the period clocked in at AU$56.56 billion, also increasing from the AU$54.33 billion it reported for the December 2024 quarter.

Its CET1 ratio for the December 2025 quarter was 12.1%, compared with a ratio of 11.5% in the prior-year period. It reported a liquidity coverage ratio of 132.74% for the quarter, compared with 130.95% in the same period in the previous year.

The bank's shares jumped 8% in recent trading on Thursday, with its shares reaching an all-time high.
