近日，中国工商银行通过境外子公司工银亚洲成功完成市场首笔自贸离岸债二级市场交易，标志着工商银行在推动离岸人民币债券市场发展方面迈出重要步伐，为推进人民币国际化、扩大高水平对外开放注入新动能。
该笔自贸离岸债在中国（上海）自由贸易试验区内发行，由上海清算所实施登记托管，发行方与投资方均为境外主体。与该类债券以往主要通过一级市场发行认购不同，本次交易中，工银亚洲与交易对手通过中国外汇交易中心本币交易系统完成二级市场交易，并通过上海清算所开展券款对付（DVP）结算，同步通过人民币跨境支付系统（CIPS）进行人民币资金划付，实现了自贸离岸债交易清算结算全流程直通式处理。该笔交易的成功落地，有助于提升自贸离岸债交易的流动性和活跃度，助力加快建设上海国际金融中心。
