Auckland International Airport (NZE:AIA, ASX:AIA) recorded 1.8 million passenger movements in January, up 1% year on year, according to a Monday filing with the New Zealand and Australian bourses.
Total passenger movements for the financial year to date reached 11.4 million in January, marking a 2% year-on-year increase, per the filing.
Total international passenger movements rose 2% to 1.1 million, the filing added.
Excluding transits, international passenger movements increased by 2%. International seat capacity grew 4%, resulting in average load factors of 85%, a 1.4 percentage-point decrease year on year, the company said.
Domestic passenger movements fell 1% 696,646.
