$Public Storage(PSA-N)$ appointed H. Thomas Boyle as its new chief executive.

He would succeed Joseph Russell Jr., who is expected to retire at the end of the month. Russell will also give up his seat on the board to Boyle.

Russell's departure wasn't the result of any disagreement with the self-storage real-estate company, it said Thursday, and he will continue with the company as a consultant until 2027.

Boyle, currently the chief financial and investment officer, would be succeeded as CFO by Joseph Fisher, effective Feb. 16.

The company also appointed Natalia Johnson as president and chief digital and transformation officer and Chris Sambar to president and chief operating officer. Both appointments are effective on Feb. 16.

It added that Board Chair Ronald Havner would step down from the chairmanship at the end of March. Independent director Shankh Mitra is expected to succeed Havner as chair.
