Falcon Metals (ASX:FAL) said that a wedge hole at its Blue Moon gold project in Victoria encountered an intersection associated with finely disseminated visible gold in a quartz vein, around 80 meters north along strike from a previous high-grade result, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company intersected 0.8 meters at 86.2 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 635 meters in downhole width at the Lotus target zone, the filing said. It also intersected 3 meters at 6.5 g/t grade of gold from 837.1 meters in the Dahlia zone.

The company is continuing drilling of additional step-out wedge holes, targeting the Lotus and Dahlia zones.
