据英国《金融时报》，派拉蒙天舞正在讨论提名Pentwater Capital Management，华纳兄弟探索公司第七大股东，加入其董事会，以阻止奈飞的收购。知情人士透露，派拉蒙已邀请Pentwater的首席执行官Matt Halbower作为针对华纳兄弟的代理权争夺战的潜在董事会提名人。Halbower表示，希望华纳兄弟能重新考虑派拉蒙修订后的报价，并且不需要进行代理权争夺战。然而，如果华纳兄弟董事会未能与派拉蒙接触，他认为这是对董事会对股东所负责任的一种严重违反，将令他更有可能出现在派拉蒙的名单上。据悉，派拉蒙计划提名足够的董事，以推翻华纳兄弟14人董事会的多数席位。
