West Wits Mining (ASX:WWI) started a scoping study under its Project 200 initiative to define a pathway to scale the Witwatersrand Basin project in South Africa toward gold production of about 200,000 ounces per year, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The study, which will be delivered by Bara Consulting, is designed to assess multiple mining targets across the company's current mining rights and two prospecting rights, the filing said.
The study is expected to be completed in June, per the filing.
