Samudera Shipping Line Establishes JV Company in Japan

Samudera Shipping Line (SGX:S56) established a joint venture company in Japan named BLUE OCEAN SHIPPING on Feb. 5, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The JV company was established following an agreement between the company's subsidiary, Samudera Japan K.K and Imoto Corp, with the latter owning 51% of the JV.

The new company will be involved in domestic shipping, ship leasing, ship agency, maritime transportation and other related activities.
