CICC's Subsidiary Guaranteed With $1.40 Billion for Bond Issuance

China International Capital (SHA:601995, HKG:3908) or CICC's indirectly-owned subsidiary, CICC Hong Kong Finance 2016 MTN, was guaranteed $1.40 billion for the issuance of bonds of the same amount, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The issuance is part of a $10 billion offshore medium-term note program.
The bonds were issued in two tranches: a $550 million tranche with a two-year term and a $850 million tranche with a three-year term.
The financial company's Hong Kong shares slipped 1% during the afternoon trade.
