A group of companies including Anthropic, Microsoft, Google Cloud and AWS have formed a pact focused on transparency, security and data protection.
Called the Trusted Tech Alliance, the signatories of the pact also include Cassava Technologies, Cohere, Ericsson, Hanwha, Jio Platforms, Nokia, Nscale, NTT, Rapidus, Saab and SAP.
The agreement includes commitments on corporate governance, supply chain oversight and operational transparency in order to build trust and address concerns about the potential negative impact of digital technologies.
"These commitments require companies to have strong corporate governance and ethical conduct, build technology securely and manage it responsibly throughout its lifecycle, and use contractually binding security and quality assurances with suppliers," the group said in a release.
