Texmaco Rail Bags New Order Worth INR277 Million for Power Maintenance of Mysore Division

Texmaco Rail & Engineering (NSE:TEXRAIL, BOM:533326) has secured an order worth 276.7 million Indian rupees from South Western Railway, India, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The contract is for a comprehensive annual maintenance and breakdown restoration of overhead equipment and power supply installations across the Mysore division for a period of two years.
The order entails undertaking routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance to ensure the uninterrupted operation of traction power systems across the Mysore division.
The work is expected be completed within 24 months from the receipt of the letter of acceptance.
The company's shares were down nearly 2% in recent trade.
