OFILM Further Extends Deadline of Optical Lens Plant Construction

OFILM Group (SHE:002456) agreed to further extend the deadline of the construction of the high-pixel optical lens production base to February 26, 2029, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Friday.
The previous deadline was on Feb. 26 this year.
The optical and optoelectronic components maker attributed the extension to tightened competition and uncertainties in the optical industry's trade and supply, as well as its moderate long-term growth.
In 2025, the company also lowered the allocated funds for the project to 960.8 million yuan from 1.31 billion yuan.
