路透巴黎2月12日 - 周四，欧洲发射了其阿丽亚娜6号火箭的首个大型新版本，将亚马逊AMZN.O的32颗卫星送入低地球轨道。
欧洲航天局说，火箭于当地时间下午1:45(1645 GMT) 从法属圭亚那的欧洲航天发射场升空，最后一颗卫星在114分钟后分离。
这次任务由阿丽亚娜航天公司（Arianespace）执行，是阿丽亚娜64号四助推器的首飞，阿丽亚娜64号是阿丽亚娜6号航天发射装置两个型号中较大的一个，由空中客车公司AIR.PA和赛峰集团SAF.PA的合资企业阿丽亚娜集团（ArianeGroup）生产。
这标志着亚马逊狮子座（以前称为Kluipert）已签订的18次阿丽亚娜6号发射任务的开始。
