Rivian Stock Price Jumps After Earnings

Dow Jones
Feb 13

Rivian Automotive shares rallied after the electric-vehicle startup logged a smaller-than-expected fourth-quarter loss.

-- Shares surged one-fifth on Friday morning, topping $16.80.

-- The stock last got a similar boost after its third-quarter earnings, out in early November.

-- Rivian's automotive revenue almost halved last quarter, knocked by lower EV deliveries after a $7,500 federal tax credit on EV purchases ended on Sept. 30. However, software and services revenue more than doubled.

-- Rivian aims to deliver between 62,000 and 67,000 vehicles this year, up from 42,247 in 2025.
