Essent Group's board has raised the insurer's quarterly dividend by 13%, to 35 cents from 31 cents.
The new payout, equal to $1.40 a year, represents an annual yield of about 2.13%, based on Thursday's closing price of $65.64, up from 1.89%.
The Hamilton, Bermuda, company on Friday said the increased dividend is payable March 23 to shareholders of record March 13.
