ChainCatcher 消息，房地产亿万富翁、Starwood Capital Group 创始人 Barry Sternlicht 表示，公司已准备将房地产等现实世界资产（RWA）进行区块链代币化，但由于美国监管限制，目前无法推进相关计划。Starwood 管理资产规模超过 1250 亿美元。
Sternlicht 在 World Liberty Forum 上指出，资产代币化可为房地产等流动性较低的资产创造新的融资方式，并让投资者更便捷地参与投资。他称这项技术是“未来趋势”，并认为其发展阶段甚至早于人工智能。业内报告显示，德勤预计到 2035 年全球代币化房地产规模可能达到 4 万亿美元，较 2024 年不足 3000 亿美元的规模大幅增长，意味着年复合增长率约 27%。Sternlicht 呼吁监管环境进一步明确，以释放资产上链的潜在空间。
