1506 ET - Planet Fitness shares look primed for growth in the coming months, especially if management can provide reassurance on recent trends or opportunities to drive member joins throughout the year, Baird analysts say in a note. The stock has declined so far this year over fears of a soft start to first-quarter member additions after the company gave limited quarter-to-date commentary at the ICR Conference last month, and investors seem concerned Planet Fitness could provide a full-year forecast below expectations, they say. However, while short-term visibility is somewhat limited, trends look like they can improve in the absence of an obvious headwind, especially with expected higher tax refunds, the analysts say. They expect shares to rise more than 30% over the next six to 12 months as a result. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
